Currencies & Networks

A ticker names both a coin and the chain it lives on. USDT on BNB Smart Chain is usdtbsc; the same token on Tron is usdttrc20. They are not interchangeable, and sending one to the other's address destroys the funds.

The network is not a detail — it is half the address. Always show your customer both the coin and the network, and never let them pick one without the other.

This table is a snapshot. Ask the API for the authoritative list — it reflects exactly what your account can accept right now.

Ask the API

GET/v1/currenciesAPI key
200 OK
{ "currencies": ["bnbbsc", "usdtbsc", "usdcbsc", "pi"] }
GET/v1/merchant/coinsAPI key

The subset you have switched on, from Dashboard → Gateway → Currencies. Use this to build your checkout's coin picker so it never offers something you do not accept.

Confirmations

A confirmation is one block mined on top of the block containing the payment. We wait for the number in the table above before marking a payment confirmed — on BNB Smart Chain that is roughly 20 seconds. The wait protects you from a payment that appears to arrive and then vanishes in a chain reorganisation.

Minimum amounts

Moving a token costs gas, so a payment worth less than the gas to settle it is a loss. Each coin has a floor; ask for it rather than hardcoding one:

GET/v1/min-amountAPI key
cURL
curl "https://api.zyrapay.net/v1/min-amount?currency_from=usdtbsc&currency_to=usdtbsc" \
  -H "x-api-key: $ZYRA_API_KEY"

# { "currency_from": "usdtbsc", "currency_to": "usdtbsc",
#   "min_amount": 1, "fiat_equivalent": 1 }

Price estimates

GET/v1/estimateAPI key

Convert a fiat price into the coin amount before you create the payment — useful for showing “≈ 0.0165 BNB” next to a price tag.

cURL
curl "https://api.zyrapay.net/v1/estimate?amount=100&currency_from=usd&currency_to=bnbbsc" \
  -H "x-api-key: $ZYRA_API_KEY"

# { "currency_from": "usd", "amount_from": 100,
#   "currency_to": "bnbbsc", "estimated_amount": 0.16582373 }
An estimate is indicative. The binding number is the pay_amount returned when you create the payment — that rate is locked for the payment window.

Fiat pricing

You can price in usd, eur, gbp, ngn, kes, zar, inr, jpy and about forty others. Set price_currency to the fiat code and pay_currency to the coin — we do the conversion and lock the rate.
